Hi! My name is J. Humphreys. I graduated from Rice University with a BA in Visual and Dramatic Arts in May 2011 and am currently working on a variety of projects that range from website administration to illustration and beyond.

Why is the site called DrawnPaper? Aren't alot of Portfolio sites the artist's name?

There are two reason why I decided to not name my portfolio site after myself. Firstly, I don't like naming things after my self. Secondly, and more importantly, my name goes against two of the most important rules I learned about domain names. The two rules being, a domain name should be short and a domain name should be easy to remember. I feel that my name violates both of those tenets due to the length of my full name.
